Introduction |
Moser Baer Power & Infrastructures Ltd (MBPIL), was incorporated in 2008 with the strategy to foray into power and infrastructure. The operations span the entire value chain of the power sector including generation, transmission and distribution. MBPIL also aims to diversify into coal mining and become an integrated power and infrastructure company through strategic tie-ups with other players.
The company aims at having a thermal generation portfolio of 5000-6000 MW by 2015. The company is all set to enter into power distribution business through strategic tie-ups with various leading power sector companies.
Currently MBPIL is developing three Thermal Power Generation Projects with a combined generation capacity of around 4000 MW in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
